    Washing Grader

ovrszd I recently bought a 143H (low hrs.)with rust issues, only because the machine was not washed or cleaned after it was in the corrosive environment when plowing snow. Cat dozer hourly rates

MattR, I charge $150.00 per hr. for my D6D , and $125.00 per hr. for my 550J (john deere) with the cost of fuel and parts a person has to make some profit. My main goal is to satisfy the customer, then they are more willing to pay your asking rate. I usually don't charge for moving if the job...

RVR6000, Glad to see some new blood getting in this game! I have been doing this for a while and if I am on new blacktop I always let the blade float, it seems to clean things up pretty good. I usually start out with the moldboard tipped back just a little then every mile or so roll it ahead...

    High Shoulders

We will for sure run the reclaimer on a stretch of road before getting new gravel. The rest of the roads I guess you could say as needed. Keep an eye out for a used reclaimer I have seen them for sale on occasion.

    High Shoulders

Our township uses a shoulder reclaimer with good success, we pull it with a tractor. We try to do our reclaiming early in the spring after things have dried up and before the grass has gotten a chance to get too tall. The sod chunks are your worst enemy, if we encounter allot of sod, we pull...
