    Case 580SK Electrical Problem

There are self-exciting regulators available for Bosch alternators that eliminate the need to speed up the motor to start charging. I don't about your particular one.

    Case 530 engine froze

New and used connecting rods are available from a lot of vendors. It is super important to protect any crankshaft crankshaft that may be exposed from damage. If the tractor has a torque convertor the engine should be removed so that the flex plate can be inspected for cracks.

    Case 530 engine froze

Worse case scenario --> cut the nuts off the caps, or cut the connecting rods and drive the sleeves out with the pistons and rods in with them. Removing the engine from the tractor would make things a lot easier no matter what you do.

    450 case

Welcome to HEF,Charles ! Is your 450 an older one with no letter next to the 450 logo ? Please post the serial number of the tractor. Do you have a service manual for it ?

    Anti sandblast radiator screen

Does the the 450 have a pusher fan on it now ? The shroud isn't needed if you don't work in a lot of sand. If the engine bay has side panels there shouldn't be any problem with sand going thru the radiator. Sand carried around on the tracks is what causes erosion of the radiator. I have seen...

Case 580D Swing Cylinder Rebuild - Stuck Con Glands - Any tips?

No need for threaded pin holes for a gland wrench. They can be cleaned out with a drill. If you have the proper gland wrench there is never a need to put pipe wrench on a gland. Previously damaged pin holes - I simply drill new ones. Anyone that attempts to remove a gland should have one of...

    Case 580E problems

Polarity reversed somewhere in the wiring ? Is the alternator charging at stupid high rate ? Is the battery boiled dry form over charging ? Deep cycle batteries are for trolling motors on boats. :)

Case 580C Backhoe Transmission Forward-Reverse REVERSAL after Lucas Transmission Fix

You need to start your own thread about your problem. Derailing this one causes confusion. Especially when they are two different machines.

Case 580B missing parts from main relief valve.

Welcome to HEF, mesc99 ! There are lot of 580's in salvage yards. I wouldn't alter the OEM valve because the main relief valve in it controls the system pressure, and that includes the backhoe. If it has one. You will probably have to buy a complete valve assembly. I doubt if anyone will sell...

Hydraulic cylinder repack: Do i need a new gland nut?

The rust in that bore is quite common. The wiper seal does not always keep moisture from entering the gland. Especially if the rod has imperfections.

    Radiator leak

The LH side of the image I posted shows exactly which oils go thru the cooler. Replacing the cooler is a better option than repairing it because of the pressure in it when the tractor is running.. IMHO of course !

Hydraulic cylinder repack: Do i need a new gland nut?

If you don't have a gland seal installation tool, I recommend that you get one for the inner seal. It eliminates the chance of damage when installing it.
