Just wondering if you got you tracks fixed yet?? All I would do is cut them off down to good metal to weld to and put some straight up and down 2" straps 1/2" thick on there and weld them good and maybe cover that weld with some hard surface.

some more of the box spreader

We have one of those here. We call them jersey spreaders and they are not worth the time the people took to build them. We use them to spread ag base on long two lane county roads sometimes and they are just a big headache!!! It's better to just spread it with a dozer.

I Totally AGREE with you (Deas Plant) I love to hear and learn from real operators, and I would love to be on a job with you!! The guy who taught me and now is my boss and still a very good friend, always told me that he did not care if I was 100 years old you still got something to learn, and...

    who makes the BEST dozer

I totally agree with it is what machine is under your pants at the time!! When I started really getting into cutting grade in Arizona D8 to D11 was what the old timers made me first start on, and after a while I found it easier on a big dozer than a little one!!! Then I moved backed to...

Ease & Longevity of Cat M series

We got a new 120M, I am not the operator of it but my uncle is and we had it two weeks and the transmission went out! All we were doing was some final grading on a pad we were doing for EPA. Got it back today and I ran it draining some ditches and it still has a shifting problem. It hesitates...

    who makes the BEST dozer

ALL IT COMES DOWN TO IS: what kind of operator and his choice!! I love komatsu, but I also like JD and Cat, I have also enjoyed some case dozers, but depending on what you like to see out in front of you and even more what is behind you, that is your choice!! DEPENDS ON THE OPERATOR AND HOW...

    who makes the BEST dozer

Who makes the best dozer? I have ran cats, komatsu, deere, and case, and if you wanted a little dozer to move a little dirt and finish a road with rock or just the dirt you have left over, the best is either a komatsu or a cat. Depending on the skills you have on a dozer, them are the best...

The new 51 is nice, and a great finish dozer, but the first problem i ran into is that you have to have a special permit to haul it here in oklahoma, not like my old 41 that I can just pick up and take anywhere I want, now I have to wait on that little paper to say i can move it!!! That's so...

anyone know what this machine is/does?

This is a mixer. We use these all the time on our road jobs to mix in lime or flyash ( coal dust) to harden up the dirt. Usually were the ground don't seem to dry up. There nice if you have someone that knows how to use them.

    New Komatsu dozer,the D51ex

My company just bought me one and it is an awsome finish dozer radiator and oil cooler systems are in back so you can see more out the front! No blind spots even the exhaust pipe is hidden behind the door frame so it's not a blind spot.
