    230sp bucket tooth pin styles

I just ran across these online…. They are a CAT 1U3202 tooth and the pins look correct. Are the sockets on replacement teeth somewhat universal?

    230sp bucket tooth pin styles

Maybe it would help to mention that the buckets are CP Wain Roy style buckets. I believe they are made or at least distributed by Paladin.

    230sp bucket tooth pin styles

This question is regarding the buckets on a Hitachi EX35U. I have two buckets - one with three teeth and one with five teeth - the teeth on both buckets are worn out and I’m looking to replace them. In my “parts bin” I have some teeth marked 230sp which seem to fit the weld-on shanks, and...

    Center Swivel Maintenance Question

I don’t use it a lot or very hard at all. Installing water lines and digging out stumps is about all I’ve done so far. It isn’t the tool I use to make a living anyway. You make a valid point about chasing problems that don’t exist. A guy could go broke doing that! I’ll keep up on the...

    Center Swivel Maintenance Question

The weak tracking may have been a red herring…. I don’t necessarily attribute that to the center joint - it could be a number of other things. Like I said, I’m working through the gremlins a little at a time. I’m more concerned that if the center joint fails as bad as the one on the...

    Center Swivel Maintenance Question

Hey - I have a Hitachi EX35U that I bought very used. I have worked through some issues, and there are more to come, I'm sure. Right now everything "works" but I am thinking I have some weak tracking issues. My question on the center swivel came to mind after watching a video online of...

4th Year Design Project Research - Hand/Wrist Protection for Skid Steer operators [Looking to learn more about the industry]

I would say a lot depends on the type of controls. My older skid steer uses levers to move the spools directly, and after a day of use the repetitive motion can wear out the forearm muscles. Machines with pilot controls are a lot easier on the operator.
