$4.35 at the station. I usually buy red fuel by the half load approx. 4500 gal. I'm on a little job and out of fuel so I just bought enough to finish up 300 gals of red @ $3.94 = $1182 :mad: D8K runs about 17 GPH = $66.98 per hour for fuel

$4.55 here as of yesterday, will probably hit $5 per gallon by Memorial day is what i am thinking. Government bodies claim prices will drop soon but the prices always spike at the holiday weekends.

Damn, you have it cheap over there.. About 2.5$ for 1 litre over here.. Thats around 9.45$ for 1 gallon..

Well, as like most other countries, im sure your taxes are through the roof. I think our tax rates on fuel are outrageous. You guys get ready to grab your toes, things shot up .25 cents today. Regular gas is sitting at 3.65 a gallon. That price is based roughly off $108 barrel of oil. Sitting around $117 a barrel today. This cant keep going this way. If it does, we are in some serious economic troubles.

more reason to look at McCains plan...no federal tax on fuel (gas or diesel) between memorial day and labor day

how this would work i don't know...then again i am all for drilling in Alaska

May 12th fuel

Put fuel in the machines today, at off road price of $4.0111. Gas I have seen from 3.73 to 3.75 and even one station at 3.89 already. And just last week I filled the S-10 up at the cheap price of $3.55.

As we say around here, someones going to get shot for this $^&* UP. That and we are being run by China, as EVERYTHING we get anymore comes from China. I really wish we could be more self suffcient and get rid of the illegals, and make the welfare bums who don't really need it get a job. I won't go on anymore, but I sure can.

This is not a supply and demand market, just a bunch of idiot investors who keep running and dumping there money in the oil market. I am willing to bet that oil would only be $80.00 per barrel if you removed all the outside investors in this. They are killinmg the US only to make a quick buck. What a bunch of low life sellouts!

Its so stupid, espically because its made from a bi-product. The stuff is cheap as dirt to produce and there just raping us! My theory is that they want to keep the U.S from ending up doing what the european countries did and switch all there cars over to it, because it burns slower, and will reduce our dependency on gasoline!

Just my 2c

The one thing I have heard, and I really have no clue about this refining stuff, is that this new ultra low sulfer fuel takes another process to get it to the sulfer levels that are set for it, thus making it higher than gasoline. Thats just what I have heard. Someone who knows bout the processes could give us a better reasoning.

That's what I have read about it also, although I am no expert either. That still does not explain a 35% increase in less than 5 months.

On road here $4.35 and off-road, just got 500Gal yesterday, $4.01. All I can say is OUCH!

If the credit crunch does not tank the economy, the fuel prices surely will.

My understanding is it is not just the extra refining it is the new equipment needed to refine it to the ultra low sulfer that has driving prices up. Either way it is still outrageous.
