Rolloff Trailer Roll Off Dump
In California it cost approx $35.00 to register a trailer for 5yrs. A newer style rolloff truck costs approx $3000.00-$4500.00 a year. Not to mention insurance costs & etc. Plus the EPA wants to upgrade the smog add ons on the older trucks. That is why the rolloff trailers could pay for itself compared to the $$$ the DMV collects for trucks every year. It add up. Rolloff trailers have Honda 13hp electric start engines to run the hydraulics. Hydraulic reeving winch systems with 5/8" winch cable. (Sure beats the electric winches). Electric winches will keep squashing the cable when it overlaps & goes around a winch drum, plus the cable will have a memory or a spiral when pulling the cable to hook up to a box. Hydraulic hoist cylinders are facing forward for more lifting power verses using a scissor lift or facing the cylinders backwards toward the middle of thr frame. (What happens is you are bending or bowing the frame before the lifting starts). 16ft rolloff trailers can haul 12ft-14ft & 16ft long container beds, plus they go over the fenders. (Not tapered bins that fit between the fenders). Best part is that a rolloff trailer could pick up & haul all sorts of beds. (One trailer, One registration).
