Case 580L hydraulic oil

I like to know how I can figure out the type and weight of the hydraulic oil I have in a used 580 L that I bought. Id like to change the hydraulic oil and filter, but my understanding is that you shouldn't mix the oils. Also what would be a compatible oil for hytran, since its almost 50 dollars a gallon, is there something that would work in place of hytran but maybe a little more affordable, where I live there's only a Napa store and a chevron dealer. Thank you
