I recentley bought CAT 140H. All the window were either broken or gone. CAT windows would cost me about $2500.00. The price isn't to bad, but some people told me that they just got a local guy that puts in flat windows to put in there windows for the fraction of the cost.

Any reccomendations?

I have a guy that installs glass for me alot but he uses lexan. It is nothing like plexiglass as it don't turn colors and tough to scratch. Do an internet search near your area for glass installers. Someone might be interested. Even if it is glass you want back in there they can cut a piece on site and surely save you money. Good Luck!

Getting somebody to do the glass for you is definitely a cheaper way to go. Like Jeremiah, we have guys that do it in our area. Where is the machine located?

The machine is in Mexico as of two weeks. We decided to hire one of our local guys that does our backhoes. Its going to cost us about $450. A definite price difference.
