will someone please confirm that this is the oil temp sending unit for 580K

Pretty sure, but will someone please confirm that #34 is the oil temp sending unit. My gauges have nothing connected for the oil temp gauge and this "indicator" has only a stub of a wire coming out of it. No color to confirm. Thanks,

Item #34 on that diagram is the trans filter restriction sender. If you're looking for the transaxle temp sender, that's A166057 on your machine. Can't tell you where the sender is located though as it shows up at electrical harness diagram 4-18 in parts pages.

There is a tee fitting on the lines coming back from the oil cooler on the rt hand frame that the temp sender screws into. It's on the outlet tube of the cooler.

Thanks (again) sheepfoot. Does this look more like it. It's on the right side, about where the converter and filter is located.
