what is cause of drifting hydrolics on 257b

If I am repairing such a problem, I always reseal both cylinders before checking anything else.
You can test them, but it doesn't take long to pull them apart & the time spent on an actual inspection of the piston/seals, cylinder wall is 100% foolproof.
