what do you guys have there for trucks

we have few trucks we have -freightliner fld 120 sd 500 cummins 18 speed
-freightliner fl 106 short wheel bas 9 speed with deep reduction, with detriot series 50
-peterbilt 379 longnose i believe it has a 3406 cat with an 18 speed
-freightliner fld 112 350hp 18 speed
-freightliner fld 112 detriot series 60 i think with a 15 speed

In the U.K. things are changing fast truck wise, we are soon to have a large area of London (inner M25 Orbital) only allowing clean running trucks in (Ero5 spec) the H.P. of the popular Scania trucks is now 730hp running through 14 speedbox's with hydraulic retarders, these motors are a big change from the past V8's, they lug very low down before a shift is needed, so its a big change to the former models, at 630hp,the fuel cost's are real murder at the moment, everyone is trying to keep the speed lower than normal to save cash, but there is still a few coins to be found even for old bangers.

We have the new 730 HP Scania's here in New Zealand too , the ones I have seen are logging trucks . Who would have ever thought trucks would have that sort of HP . I started when 300 was king of the road !! .
We run a Kenworth , 300 Hp Cat . 94 model and only had 280,000 km on it when I bought it about 3 years ago and a 350 Hp Mitsubishu , both with 16' dump bodies . We normally run truck only ( no trailer ) so 300 HP does the job for us . Many hours working short distance carting away from digger

We have three tri axles where i work.

05 Volvo and an 06 volvo with 21' steel box with a 465 volvo motor paired to an 18 speed.

Truck i drive is an 05 international workstar 7500 tri axle with a 340 hp international motor. 13 speed with a.17.5' steel rock box. I do a lot of excavation with it so its perfect!

This is a Man heavy haulage truck about to set off as a balast tractor pulling a 6 bed 4 trailer loaded with a rock hawg that would scale about 160 U.S. tonnes

Cps, I bet they cannot do that bit of haulage in the U.S. without some sort of special event service???, the MAN runs a Torque with lock up and they sey pulls like a Titan, nothing beats a Titan, only 2 Titans I am told???
