$95k for a programable robotic welder that doesn't require you to be a CNC programmer and is available from your local welding supply.


I see this thing getting a lot of work doing things like repeat bucket jobs if they'll fit on the table. It won't completely replace a guy though will allow for a lot more productivity and work through lunch and smoke breaks.

Might take away production work. No way in my lifetime will robots be able to make field repairs. Stuff like gouge out a crack in the belly of a machine and weld it up.
