Tree shear

Or stump shear. We have a 200 Komatsu and a 290 Volvo. Thinking of getting a tree shear for the Volvo. Anyone have any experience with these. We have cleaned up many acres of downed pines and oak as well as a lot of stumpin. How good will they break up 12/20 pines etc. thanks for any info

Not sure what type of shear you are refurring to. A number of folks tried putting tree feller buncher shear heads on excavators here and ended up breaking/cracking the booms in short order. The stresses were placed in different places on the excavator boom than the excavator bucket.
