Have a Takeuchi TL230 (S/N 223102094), Kubota engine. Noticed a fluid leak when using Sunday, turns out it’s hydraulic fluid leaking from the tank breather. Sight glass on side of tank totally full (cannot see top of fluid level). Radiator overflow tank about 1” up from low line, core had ~1” of coolant covering when I checked through the cap, engine oil level ok. Unit received a complete service about 20 hours ago, which included a hydraulic fluid change and new filters. Sight glass was midway up after service. Concerned that machine may have a leak in the oil cooler, however it seems like the fluid gained in the hydraulic system is greater than the fluid lost in the coolant overflow tank. Any thoughts here? If it’s coolant getting into the hydraulic system, how screwed am I?

Did you have the arms up in the air when you filled the hydraulic tank?
