Providing I meet the guy today............Ide like to know what his experience is. I'm under the impression that he has never turned wrench on equipment. I was told he knows equipment better than Alan. What exactly does it all mean? Hopefully I will have some answers today.

Well, my first impression isn't good. The guy didn't really talk much even when I asked questions. He had this smug (better than thou) airness about him. Tall guy, maybe in his mid 40's or so. Dude just acted like I was bothering him, and he didn't have time for me. Really odd but I know the type. My name for this guy is SDS.

One of the supers there told me that most everyone has already had an issue with his smugness. Maybe it's his personality, nerves...........or he's just a prick? My mind can be changed.....I'll give it some time.

2 supers are already done with him, and he hasn't been there 3 weeks yet. They believe he is there to take Alan's place. According to them, he is really swinging his dick around. Time will tell if I'm interested in working at all with him or this company anymore.

Not ever cared for Holier than the ones on deck the longest by a Newbie, not walked the walk or bent the bolts. Time may tell but suspect writing on the wall is OBVIOUS Enough.

Reason I left the Nuke as retiree was a SDS Boss that I worked with as a Entry level Transfer in, we both received the same testing and applied same level of quals to entry to Operations, he remained smug all the way thru his Operator to Reactor Operator and finally in a Step Up to First Line Mgmt and left the Hall. He always asked me pertinent questions as to when I ran the BU Diesels or performed surveillance procedures he was uncomfortable with that I seem to always get hung with, then would take credit for personal contact of the process and finding new problems I had found. I quit elaborating to him early on due to that, he did take that personal as had No Laurel Wreaths from not really understanding. Always tried to get under my skin where the Neck Surgery was final chance, he was told to get me off Sick Leave any way possible, I explained when he tried was NOT Physician Released and his Comment "I Do NOT Care, you're to report back to work" was the final act and was REPEATED in Email to HIS boss as I went on Vaca Time and filed Retirement. He was side slip transferred into Maintenance Mgmt and soon after Resigned to go to Dubai as a Contractor rep. Been fired there now that I have learned.

That same SOB issued me the Nickname I carried for my service years at the nuke of Cooter(Dukes of hazard Type), Was having problems with his Vette as we were Plant Helpers, stumble and poor economy, had several OTHERS worked on it not ever curing. Over my shoulder noted that had a Rockchucker Quadrajunk on it several years old, needed a Main Body replacement as Primary Jets Pockets were leaking, he scoffed and called me with "OK Cooter" What would you know about Quality GM Engines(Was driving a Ford Exploder then). Looked at straight on and explained the nuances of a Spread Bore Quadrajet and the aspects of fails I had seen over 23 years, he again scoffed later I heard had bought a Replacement NEW Quadrajet Carb and cured the problem. His BROTHER, the Super Marine Mechanic that came to the Nuke that was not so great a wrench did his Carb Replacement, explained had not actually ever noted these leaked at the Jet Wells as his brother(My Boss) had found out, not ever let on and Not ever thanked.
