I saw your old boom truck at the Anchor yard while wandering around KC on a rain day. Glad to see you back working. I"ve met one of the tower crane guys from JE Dunn a couple times, but i can't remember his name at the moment.

Yesterday and today's deal . Company has 3 300 crawlers and has has a 4th rented for a while . The rented machine is an import , A Sany . Ton of stuff I flat don't like but it's rented and not a permanent addition . Anchor hauled the tracks and house . This company just doesn't seem to care about hauling the big loads .

Here are a few pics .... Had to strip some of the weights to roll down off the rail road job and over a creek crossing and back up the other side thru part of a drive in move theater .

I have heard complaints about Sany's but decided to see for myself .... I am convinced the complaints are well founded .

Interference between the boom stops and the mast during assembly . Need patience and different sizes of shackles to when removing the tracks . Have to climb the mast or have a man lift handy to reeve the mast in order to self erect . Takes two guys at least to handle the HEAVY Pendant line connections .... Took four sets of hands to make the pendants to the mast.

Pendant line are side by side on the point and one above the other on the mast . Inside pendant lines off of the point become the bottom on the mast .

Car body weights set on a bracket that hangs on two pins , when crawling up a hill they will swing away from the car body . May not hurt anything but sure makes you move fast the 1st time you see it
