Could get this set of chains coming from a hitachi ex200-5. A mechanic estimated them to be at 80-90%.

One set of chain is intact but the other set has 2 busted links.

After showing the pictures to 2 different person for opinions, one guy told me that it was likely the results of the chain being
run too tight and that there was likely stress being put on all the other links or that it could be a bad production run and that he wouldn't
recommend buying them and someone else said it was likely due to rocks and that the chains should be fine.

I need to take 1 or 2 links off anyway to fit them on the machine.

I am leaning towards the opinion of the first guy but would like to ear others people's opinion also.

Good day
Installing the pads to those chains must be a thankless task, the cost of new chains outweigh all that labour and hardware.
Kind regards
