Stinger boom truck winch prob

Hello, I got a 1980s model f800 stinger boom truck. A couple days ago while using it oil started shooting out of the winch, opposite side of the hyd. Motor. after looking at it I realized the oil was shooting out from the is little fitting that I'm assuming is supposed to be a vent, anybody have any ideas on what could cause this

Could be motor seals or brake seals. Hard to say without seeing it in person.
