I am looking at purchasing my own set of step plates and a bearing press setup for use on my own machines at home since I can't exactly take the shop's set home. I was wondering where I might be able to find a set up with maybe a pump and a cylinder or two with holes for threaded rod at a somewhat reasonable price

You and every one else. I have looked and never found them at a price that i liked. If you are lucky you may get a deal at a auction. I bought a lathe thinking i would build some stuff but it takes alot of time.
