Click on "post reply" down the bottom left of the last post then underneath the next box under "additional options" click manage attachments. Hopefully the rest will be self explanatory.

I think you have to have a certain number of posts before you can post pictures and such. But don't quote me on that.

Hey Dan,
Glad to see you got some pics up from Harsco metals Holland.
As we are official not allowed to take pics and publish them....
I ran the 990h sma just couple of hours ago in the night-shift.
We had the control levers modified from stock 990h to 992g style cause we had the 992g before and some operators did'nt like the old style levers (that's still on the 990h)anymore.

So Dan, I am assuming you work for Multi Serv. Did we happen to meet in India a few years ago, or was that someone else from the UK office?

Those 973c's are remote controlled.
Then they don't have to lock the converters when taking out spillage slag.

Very interesting indeed ! I find that more & more equipment is going to remote control in steel mills. A plant in upstate New York, here in the US. We had a furnace stirring device custom made by caterpillar.Reminded me of a gradall, but instead of the boom telescoping .The whole boom ran on a sort of sled.Just like modern tree limb stripping machine found here in the US. It too could be used either via remote control or with operator.
Wish I could have gotten pictures of it,but like most plants world wide. Pictures are a no no.
