The pics above are of a house that had no foundation and the floor was 6" out from one end to the other, a company came in a jacked it up, and dug the cellar, the walls were poured, and now we are backfilling, drains, utilities...start tomorrow AM.

Moving the excavator in!

Thanks Fireman, the kobelco is a great machine,I would love to have a 115 with a hydraulic thumb. That 5500 GMC has proven to be a good addition to the fleet. The GVW has been upped to 26,000lbs so it's legal for 7.5 ton. It handles it like nothing.:thumbsup

I'll definitly keep you in mind. I looked at Paul Smiths forestry program when I was a senior in HS, I was very close to going, what a great set up they have. The 490 sat on the side of the road along RT 73 going out of Keene on the way to Lake Placid, I demo'd a trailer there and the machine sat there for a while. Also did a few other jobs on the main drag, but thats most likely where you saw her.:thumbsup

I like your avatar,I have a 575XP and a 346...GOOD STUFF

Thanks countryboy, Ive been looking at the site for a while and finally decided to sign up.

nedly, That is where I saw the 490, I knew I saw it before lol. That 575xp is a really nice saw, to expensive for me now. I'm currently looking to get a new saw and was thinking maybe a 359. Any good husky dealers up this way?

Moving the JD to a farm equipment place this afternoon for a new AnBo grapple and auxillary hydraulic lines to the front, with an elctrically operated valve that actuates from the loader lever. Should be a slick set-up!

Jazak, Any pics of the doggies?

Grapple

Got the machine back finally, so the grapple is on, the new hyds are hook up(although not how I spec'd them...oh well it works) The tires are loaded. Can't wait to grapple something. I have about 2-3 days worth of chipping to do but it snowed 4-5 inches today so I am not sure I can get into the job and then back out...I'll use it for loading logs this winter!!:thumbsup

Little driveway

Pics of a small driveway job. The town paved the road, and the owner was not able to get deliverys into his shop due to the rear bumper dragging on the lumber trucks, so we cut some trees, added a culvert and a couple loads of gravel, and... VOILA he has a nice driveway! Wish I had taken a few after it was done, but oh well.

Its been over 20 years since I've seen a concrete septic tank. I didn't know they still made them. They use plastic ones around here.
Nice photos Nedly.

Thanks,Lash!
We have done 8 septic systems this year, this is only the second concrete tank we've used, the rest have been plastic. Plastic are just so much easier to work with. We have them delivered to the yard throw them in the 1 ton and go. Heck, you can set one with the three ton machine! The truck driver asked us why he hadn't seen us much this year, thought we hadnt been busy.LOL, didnt have the heart to tell him.
