RR work is about the easiest money there is.
I only go out on RR jobs on a rare occasion since I have yet to be able to mesh with RR way of doing things...
That and I don't know how to keep my big mouth shut.
But I guess it takes a special breed of person to be able to sit there all day watching the paint dry.
Me....I'd much rather go out and have to mentally and physically work for my money.

Those old 87A's sure have some grunt when they are running right. I am still surprised it pulled through a 100K strap, unless it got nicked somewhere.

With 60 series in them instead of 12-71's they are a lot friendlier on the ears.

Here's what I had waiting for me last week.
24 of them

I was told by my boss that I loaded and sent 300 in 8 1/2 hrs last Friday.
No wonder my arms were so tired :tong
Tomorrow there is supposed to be 28 trucks...
I can hardly wait. :Banghead

This old 46A is in about poor a shape as they come.
It's owner obviously doesn't care much....as long as it still runs.

Somewhere.
Let me re-phrase that, I've never seen one in person, but in a rock and dirt magazine. Essentially it's just a 446 (I believe) with all the fixins' removed and a hitch on the back. I bet it was reallllll handy in the right place. Are you running that one in the photo?, if so, how does it run?

Hey Pete, I remember at one point you put an exhaust brake on a truck you were running. How was it for holding back? I'm thinking of putting one on my single axle, I know they're not a jake but for single axle weights it seems like it would be fine, and a lot cheaper. What do you think?
