I need a pump for a a 1986 snorkel. It currently makes bad noises but no hydraulic pressure. The tag on the pump is illegible. Does anyone know how to figure out what it is and if it's rebuild able or if I have to source another unit? Thanks, Blair

It's hit or miss at best. Sometimes it's a pump that is readily available from aftermarket sources, other times it's a pump that's specific to the OEM spec and only available from OEM. The best thing you could do is pull the pump and take it to a hyd cylinder/pump shop, they have the contacts and knowledge to figure out if it's a pump that can either be rebuilt, or sourced aftermarket, or if it's OEM only.
