Yes dry .Grease will only hold dirt and grind you new parts down in dirt locations .You can stretch boom all the way out when done and spray a molly lube which will go on wet but dry smooth like glass.Just make sure the surface is good and clean before you put it on .I will get you the name of it for you .Do you need the operation ,parts and service manuals? If so send me you email address and serial number so I can email you the right books .My email is tool_king@hotmail.com if need.the skytrak booms are dry, right? why no lube?
jcb uses a waxoil on their booms and dirt doesnt stick. i have almost 5k hours on mine and never replaced pads. just shimmed once.Yes dry .Grease will only hold dirt and grind you new parts down in dirt locations .You can stretch boom all the way out when done and spray a molly lube which will go on wet but dry smooth like glass.Just make sure the surface is good and clean before you put it on .I will get you the name of it for you .Do you need the operation ,parts and service manuals? If so send me you email address and serial number so I can email you the right books .My email is tool_king@hotmail.com if need.
