Saving money/searching for alternative brand name part numbers

Most of the time this works, but always verify with multiple sources.
1. Always lookup and start with the correct part number.
2. Google that part number with yoyoparts behind it.
xxxxxxx.yoyoparts
3. Sometimes you need to add a description like "filter" to keep if from pulling an unwanted result.
4. Click on cross reference interchange
5. Now you have a list of part numbers from varios brands to search for.
6. Best offers on ebay is my favorite point.
7. Have a good idea what that generally lists for. DONT BE AFRAID TO OFFER HALF. When there are many, many listings of the same part on ebay, make a best offer.

Some people do crossword puzzles, i do part searches. Start early if you know you are going to need it. Saves money!
