Remote Controlled??

Anyone know of a good remote controlled ex, dump, dozer, or loader? NOT made out of plastic??? I'm looking for one for my 5 year old son. I I can't find anything I may tru and build on myself. Thanks

i know that bobcat has one, not sure what it is made of though. or you could wait a year or two and get him the real thing...

http://www.gardentrucking.com is a good place to start. They have a 1:14 scale 966G that looks pretty sweet. It's all metal with plastic trim, and runs a REAL hydraulic system.:thumbsup. The also have a Cat atric in development. These are way more substantial than "toys", but they're not cheap...

If you go to their "community" page, you can sign up for their meaasge board (used to be able to browse it without registering, but not any more) which has lots of good info and should generate plenty of other leads.
