I have a read screen All Rd 40 and the shaker works in forward mode but does nothing when put in the reverse mode any help would be Appreciated

Worked with/on one for many years. The shaker head is shook by a simple motor on an shaft with a precise imbalance. If it won't spin backwards, your problem is in the spool that directs flow to that shaft motor. Why you wanna spin it backwards?

it hold the material on the shaker longer where forward kicks it off faster

I can see that. My outfit was in the business of road materials. The only topsoil they ever used was as a binder for the screened cinders used for finish grade. Usually silt from the bottom of old stock tanks (ponds) around here. It ran thru the screen, but was chased with a bunch of rock at a 1:4 ratio, ish...

we run fines from mulch in with the topsoil at about 4:1 1 scoop of fines to 4 scoops of topsoil it fluffs the topsoil up and the landscaping guys love it
