I'm in the market for a used pad foot vibratory roller. If anyone has any tips on what to look for and experience on the most worn out parts on the roller that would be great! Any other advice or anything is welcome and appreciated. Look at a 10-15klbs machine 48-68" side roller.

Thanks in advance!

The center hitches is the most obvious place. If you put the machine in forward and you feel a big bump as it starts to move, that the center hitch. Oil sample on the hydraulic oil will also tell you a lot. The other big problem area was the electrical system. A lot of the time the vibration controls stop working and you can't tell if it is electrical or in the eccentric drive itself.
