Plate between engine and transmission

Does someone has in there site with Volvo trucksupload_2020-5-15_22-37-38.png damage at this plate between engine and transmission? Some people talk that it seems operation problem, but idk..upload_2020-5-15_22-37-38.png

Is that a flex plate for an automatic transmission? If it is. Yes they are prone to failure. Every time the convertor goes into lock up, it pushes against the flywheel. Its minimal travel, a few thousandths. Typically on off-road haul trucks you'd see cracks in between the crank hub bolts.
Got any actual pics of the failure? What size engine are you working with?
