Thanks alot Ryan
Ryan lady in your office gave me the # of someone in your shop but the connection was bad, the # was I have taken the controller box out of this 670 after i got a reman swing alternator on the machine and it is now putting out current but still no swing. I found some of the one-way resisters bad and replaced them, but I had a bad connection under the bottom board and had to take the top 2 boards up, there are several fiber spacers between all 3 boards but there are 2 metal spacers 1 between the top 2 boards and 1 between the 2nd and 3rd boards, when I lifted the 2 top boards off the 3rd, I didn't see what position this one came from. The 2 metal spacers have to conduct voltage between the plates. Would you or one of your mechanics happen to know? Appreciate the help either way.

I looked at the parts one on the shelf and didn’t see any metal spacers. The crawler ones might be different

I didnt know it had any until I started putting it bac together and felt the differences in weight.
The spacer with the white dot is between the 1st and 2nd plate. Pointing to the location where it goes.

This one with the white dot goes between the 2nd and 3rd plates, I think where I'm pointing in the last pic. When I looked in the parts book and seen it takes 2 I had to get the knife out and poke um to find the one still in place between the top 2 plates. Service manual doesn't show and called Terex direct and they can't tell from their files.

Looked a little harder and found them. This is looking from the top down. The one on the left is on the top and the one on the right is on the bottom. Our truck mechanic / lowboy driver said he talked to you the other day

4000 Manitowoc had to pull the main hoist linings out because the holes where the linings bolt together were cross threaded, stripped or both. Had machine shop oversize holes and drill plates. while it was out had new linings installed. Ya know theirs a special place in hell for the sadistic SOB that decided how big the opening was going to be for servicing these frictions

4300-2 Gradall swing gear box
Customer called and said he had hydraulic problem and it wouldn't swing and was sending it to us to check out. Called him back and told him that something was wrong in the gear box and the hyd. motor was turning it but was making grinding noises in the box and that something had to be broke or stripped. Thats when he told me that makes sense because the crew had hooked a pickup to it to get it out of traffic and boom back in cradle...
Ordered a new box as this ones scrap.
