You have to compare the cost of the unit versus the cost of doing it the old school way, particularly that before a road crew can get to work the area has to be set up so they don't get run over by traffic.
The claim is that it will do three times as much work with one operator, I think it is best to look at cost per pot hole, how much does it cost to employ three or four people to fix pot holes plus the equipment they need.
If it works as advertised I would think that unit would pay for itself in a year as it is essentially doing the work that it would take 9 people to do.
