I have purchased a 1998 PC38-UU sn#6230 and want to change it to John Deere control, it does not appear to have a pattern change valve. Anyone have info on how to change it over? Thx

Thank you uffex. That information you posted was very helpful in getting that job done. I am also replacing some pins and bushings on the machine and have new OEM pin and bushings from Komatsu. I installed them and the pin has a lot of slop in the bores in the cast steel section that the arm attaches to. The wear is in the bore that nothing ever moves or has moved in the past and the pin stays in a fixed position and the arm moves instead. So the question is how did / could this wear occur in that cast steel section ?

Good day JB
The wear that you describe is not so unusual in that type of joint after some considerable hours, today there are many outfits whoo specialise in building up and boring the anchors to the manufactured tolerance. All wear will begin with some movement as the movement increases son does that of the wear rate.
This may not be the answer you were looking for but we all have to except that joints will require renovation from time to time.
Have a good day

DK88, yes I looked under the floor mat and nothing was there. All the pilot hoses go up into each joystick.
