pc220-6 working mode

our pc220-6 is having issues when any mode is activated ( cant do any fine work because the rams seem to not respond till you have the controls half way then the top ram will suddenly jump into life but way too fast and uncontrollable and if i back off on it it will just stop,....this all happens even with auto-deceleration mode off and engine running at full rpm... especially with the arm IN system) but when it is in "active" mode all of the controls work very smooth and the problem goes away :Banghead.... also noticed the pressure switches are not working as they should. could this be the problem. or is it a solenoid valve playing up. im not sure where to look first

any help is much appreciated
