Hello, I have been trying to work through what seems like an endless list on my trusty Komatsu. I have a slow leak out of one of the planetary drives. The outside of it. Where the drain and fill plugs are. I have ordered a new o-ring for it but I just cant seem to figure out how to do it. On the full sized excavator board John C said to push the cover plate in and remove the snap ring ....but I was unable to figure that out. How hard do I push it in?

Has anyone ever done one of these?
