Gramercy Group Inc. finished primary demolition of Giants Stadium on June 27th, 2010 and began filling in the bowl with 250,000 cubic yards of reclaimed soil.

A 2 foot thick cap of compacted sand gets topped by another 6 inches of compressed and compacted base mix before a final top 5 inch layer of hot mix asphalt is laid down. Crisdel Group, Inc. (www.crisdel.com) has until August 15th to complete paving and striping in time for the preseason opener on the 16th between the Jets and the Giants.
