Hayes no1- I filmed full video walk arounds of every piece and all trucks photoed, will put a bit everyday up,I've got a lot of pictures to share ongoing here, but dont want to flood the system here with skadill stuff, Going tostretch it out and splice it in on topic as it goes with the flow of others material.Gotta say this is a great place to hang out here, and see people make connections to their old gear, and places and faces they worked with,of years gone by.Thanks so much to everyone who posts in each forestry thread,it is much appreciated and makes for great evening escapes into the digital and pixel forest here.

Skadill, you must post pics of that LRSW Mack with the remnants of the spar saddle still on it. It would be interesting if someone remembered it. The guy that owned those Pacifics above must have got a good deal on orange paint!

This reminds me of this old orange P16 with a Pacific made preload water tank - an old Tahsis truck I think

Drove that truck lots loaded it many more times has a fifth wheel on it makes the bunk hard as hell to turn. The mirrors may be ugly but they do let you see behind. Wonder what they did with after they contracted Zeballos out. We got the line horse parked next to it and the Ford water tanker on the other side.

075; I guess you are referring to HD line horse at right and white Ford left of P16 - in back another HD - she got a sander box. Pics were shot in Zeballos summer 2005.

The line horse was the first truck I drove when I broke in it was H43 back then and it was a preloader, The other truck with the watertank was H44 another preload. When I started in Zeballos both those trucks were fairly new, and painted on the side of the watertank It said this Unit cost $44,000. I jumped from the top of the load unto the bullboards above the cab and slid off the bullboard unto the hood then the fender and ended up on the ground and hurt my knee pretty good and all Bob the driver could say is "Hey you scratched my paint" if I could of walked I would have kicked him.

Took this at an Interfor sort yard in 93,while waiting to get unloaded next.Never saw the truck much after,It was a local truck, but either was sold or retirement i'm guessing.

H61 was originally a Kelsey Bay Division truck (MacMillam&Bloedel) was transferred to Northwest Bay Division around 2000-2001 as a low-bed truck The reason the front wheels look funny is because that truck sometimes runs on the Highway and because of the weight is over on the front axle They had to go to 16:00X25 tires for more weight distibution All these trucks had 14:00X25 tires but due to being used as a lowbed truck ,she has to cross the highway as well as travel on it from time to time (Empty of coarse) Thus the reason for the strange hub/tire arrangement Note the rear tires are still 14:00X25

Thanks for the info. That's an obvious answer. Very heavy, what is the unloaded weight? The TARE weight is it?
