Over tension track.

Currentlly clearing some 50 acres for farmland.
I have over tensioned one track and cannnot find a release plug in the cavity. How can I safely release about 1/4 inch of tension??? :usa

There may be a bull plug covering the release plug. You can also back out the grease fitting wait for the pressure to bleed off, then reinsert the grease fitting and pump the tensioner back up. Its not ideal but it works.

what kind of dozer if its cat I bet a bunch on here including myself can send you a picture, but if the machine still has an operation and maintenance manual in the cab that info will usually be in there also
