Adams was the first to have leaning front wheels. Later on Adams become part of Le Tourneau Westinghouse.

There's enough of them still around, and they sell pretty reasonable for what they are and what they can do. Never found one close enough though. The Cats and others are probably just as functional, these were not new inventions, they were the pinnacle of a long development of pull type graders.

You certainly don’t see messages like that on new gear.

The Furfy tank mentioned in that article was a galvanised steel tank with cast iron ends.
The shorthand message was changed several times over the years but I believe the original was…“Water is a Gift from God but Beer is a Concoction of the Devil don’t drink Beer.”

Funny you should say that skyking1. NZ 40 years ago you could order from the local pub a mini tanker which consisted of a small trailer with a 200 gallon tank full of beer, gas bottles and a hose. I went to plenty of parties where it would be drunk dry and a refull would be ordered. On returning it with beer in it you'd reimbursed for the undrunk portion.
