I did not find a thread about L45F/L50F on this forum so i make one. Here you have a movie on the new L50F from Volvo. This is the swedish 40km/h version with BSS (Boom Suspension System) as standard. Swedish version does not have Joystick. It will also have CDC (Comfort Drive Control) as optional. This L50F is equipped with attachment bracket with angular movement from the swedish company UFO (Umeå Försäljnings AB). L45F and L50F is exactly the same base machine. L45F have less hp and counterweight that is the difference
How do i post pictures?

Rille, I have a couple 'Volvo' questions for you. Why does Volvo use the multiple small levers instead of the one joystick? The 50F is a hydrostatic transmission, how did you like it compared to 'regular' transmission loaders?

Small levers is standard here in Sweden. You can order it with joystick if you want. BSS - Boom suspension system is standard to.
They are possible to get with Comfort Drive Control - CDC.
About hydrostatic and converter, i dont know really how to compare them. It did shift very smooth reverse/forward.
And it was very strong for a L50. Much power!

That is really a nice sized loader. Big enough to load trucks and do regular wheel loader type duties but also small and manuverable to take on the duties of a larger skid steer. Is BSS the same as Ride Control?

The 50F must be pretty new, I see Volvo has made a 50 size before? Not finding may used for sale here in the states. I like the size for truck loading in the summer but think it would be real nice for plowing. The hydrostat transmission would be very nice for plowing, don't have to use the brakes so much.

I think BSS is the same as ride control.

Volvo released L45F/50F in 2009, now they will release L45G/L50G. Outside it is just one change from L45F/L50F.
A new exhaust pipe. Inside i dont know but something with the engine i guess.
Picture on L50G :)

Rille, have been looking at some 2009-10 50F's and wondered what I need to be concerned about? The hours are in the 6000-7000 hour range.

Thinking about picking up one of these instead of a big skidsteer. Thanks!
