Watching the previous video, how much grapple yarding is done off of a cold deck? It makes sense to shovel log to a deck and swing it with the grapple yarder, but the video is the first time I have seen it done. Just curious.

This is almost full circle, I worked on a cold deck machine and after we moved, the slackline machine would swing the deck to the landing.

Do you know if T-Mar offers manufacturer financing? I am very interested in a new yarder and would prefer to have a grapple yarder over a 172.

I guess T-Mar partnered with Finning(western canada) in 2016 maybe to get better access to parts, support and finance (CFSL?) for the amount of Cat parts that are used in the Log Champ haulers.

Question - do the Log champs have significantly less length of rope on their drums compared to the Madills (172B and 124)? how much of a disadvantage might this be is places with long slope lengths etc. The other feature to check is the machine weight and how currently strong the bridges are where you might transport these yarders and how often disassembly might be required to reduce weight to go across bridges safely.
