I'm a mine equipment operator from Sahuarita, AZ (near Tucson)

I work at a large copper mine running all cat except for 4 P&H shovels.

I personally run trucks (793 and 793B), water trucks (789), Rubber Tire Dozer (824C and 834B), crawler dozer (D10N and D10R), and blades (16G and 16H) at the moment.

Been running big yellow (and green - learned scrapers on a TDT-14 Euc) things that run on diesel since I was a kid.

Welcome to Heavy Equipment Forums!!:drinkup

How did you find us?

I was down with the flu the other day and went searching for somewhere to "talk shop" (had several unfinished projects that were annoying me). Found this board through Google and it looked good. I'll post some pics soon of a typical day in the mountain.

The strikes were over before they started - USWA was trying to get blood from a rock with ASARCO. I thank God I'm at Sierrita (never been union).
