Here is a new trailer we just finished a couple days ago...Its our new Low profile 3 axle that is california legal! meets the 48' overall length rule and has a 22' deck. This trailer also has Disc brakes and ramp storage in the back..thats what the opening is between the tail lights. :D

Lookin' good, how do you guys go about your fabrication? Do you have the pieces made and weld them, cut them yourself.....?

almost everything is done in house... we have a 8ft x 40ft cnc plasma table so all the flat plate items get cut on that and sent to the jigs after that...there are a couple items small parts we get cut off site just due to our plasma not being able to keep up with demand...we really need to add a second table but dont have the shop space for it yet. Plans are in the works to add a 3rd welding shop and shooting for 49,000sq ft. will give us a little over double the capacity we have now:drinkup the way we are set up now we can produce a little over 100 trailers a year. so with the new shop prob. be able to hit the 200-250 area

What is the max permited weight in CA now for this 3 axle setup?

What payload can you haul?

Nice looking trailer there.

California now allows 60,000 on STAA routes and I believe it is around 58,000 everywhere else so assuming with a 3 axle, 20,000 lb truck with a 22,000lb front axle and 15,200 trailer you should be able to legal around 93,000lbs in California under purple weight permit. Now that’s assuming you can get the weight distributed just right so depending on what you are hauling and where the weight is might be a little less than that.:D

Couple more questions.

How does it compare to the 16 tire 44 ton professional like I have now?

Does it have a 102" deck?

What is the deck length?

if you have the professional and only running in california....that would be the best trailer for you...a 3 axle will not help you unless you are running out of state and they do not rec. the 16 tire group.....you can actully haul more weight on the 16tire due to the overall weight of the trailer being about 3,000lower. And yes it is a 102" deck
