I bought a 1987/ 1989 ? i dont have it home yet chevy R30 4door 2wd single wheel. I dont need or want the extra doors. I want a 1979/ 1999 1/2ton 2 wd regular cab. If the it wasnt a big frame R30 i would chop the cab and change the axles. Maybe i can sell it or trade. The 4 door older 1ton chevys are every were when you want a plain cab.

Legendary designer Larry Shinoda was responsible for the Ford Boss 302 and Boss 429 Mustang. He always called Fords VP Knudsen {Boss}.
He also worked for White truck and tractor division and carried the {Boss} name there too. White Road Boss.

The first time i ever saw a Silver White tractor was the first time for square headlights. I thought it was a one off show tractor.

I love the picture! Dunno about the truck but the welder appears to be a Hobart. It looks a lot like my old Hobart GL318 but with an additional generator feature for power. Mine is a 1953 model, so a little newer than that one but similar and also has a chrysler 6 cyl engine. Mine has the longer 6 cyl ( 25" ?) so it should be a 251 or a 265 i think. I've been burning a lot of rods lately with mine on my scraper hydraulic conversion project. Its sure hard on gas though and it really bellows when i've got the amps cranked up for gouging with the air-arc. Thanks for posting that picture TS:)

Its hard to believe that wire spokes could hold up and from all the old pictures i have saw they were preferred over soild steel wheels back then.
