We have moved on and now were lost....
Did you punch out the floor to prevent water build up? or was it a complete rub out with all the concrete removed?

yeah stock, all the concrete got broken to 18" minus then stayed on site. the whole floor got ripped it, in places it was 1' thick. we finished backfilling it. it took 135 well loaded tandem loads. friday we hydroseeded it so it took about 3 weeks, bur we took some time off while we waited on our 75% completion check. now we will have to wait another monthe for the last 25%. that's the one thing that gives me sour taste about this biz is getting jerked around by owners regarding pay. regards cd

wolf- thanks, there was no alot of profit because we are so far behind with a/r and a/p but it will be around 10%. we took down the old house ans the restuarant.

Sorry to hear there wasn't a lot of profit in the job. Do you think the bidding was too low, or was there unexpected hazards in the job.

How old was the red house that you took down? From the window frames it looks like it was pretty old and had some interesting structural features. Was there anything worth saving from the house, or did it all get trashed?

Keep the great pictures coming.

How do you like your 307? A lot of people don't like 7 tonners without the swing boom, but i really like the 70sr i've played with a couple of times. Which do you use more, the 135 or the 307?

the 307 is not a frontline line machine any more , for these reasons. it has quite a few hours 6000?it has worked in alot of rock, as it was my first hoe and it is way loose. the bobcat 435 seem to outwork it easily. it does not have a turbo either. i will tell toy this the air still blows ice cold and it always starts. it is also good for lifting. the 135 will blow it away because well, many things it is also twice the weight, turboed, brand new 2800 hrs. my 225 has 5000 hours. so hope that it explains. the 307 has been a great machine
