PC200HD/PC200LC. Looking at these machines. Both -8’s. One has HD on decal the other LC. Is there a difference? First one I’ve ever seen one labeled HD

One possibility is there were some machines that had the next size model of carbody with the house. What used to be a PC360 became and PC300HD. Unit was a PC300 house with a PC400 carbody. The LC means the undercarriage is a little longer than on a standard carbody.
I've seen gray market machines that had what was basically a demolition guarding package also called and HD machine. The had reinforced idler pockets, swivel guard and under-house guard plating installed with a little heavier counterweight.
