When you say grabby, what exactly do you mean? padel all the way down before they work? or jumping about when you press them! is there any nosies when your braking?

Grabby is often a symptom of oil contamination if it persists or rust if its only the first few stops. Disc or drum? Thinking its going to be disc.

First of check the axle oil, (this will also be the oil the brake discs are immersed in) it most likely has not been changed since new!
Coming up on its first 1000hrs id say that could be your problem, it will likely have a sliver tint to it cos it is its first change, but that would be normal!

Try that and let us know if it helps!
