Kobelco SK75SR hydraulics randomly stop.

Serial # YT08-30095. Been running this machine and the hydraulics will randomly stop. No functions at all, then will all of a sudden come back. If you lift the safety lever and then lower it, it beeps, signaling it has been engaged but it won’t activate the hydraulics, if it sits for a minute they come back. Thinking it may be a lazy solenoid?….just waiting for it not to come back though. Any help is appreciated.

Hi if it beeps the switch in arm rest is working. Like you said lazy solenoid is most likely problem. You could swap it with the two speed track solenoid to get you going

Such issue soften originate from loss of pilot pressure, root cause can be pilot pump or relief valve in addition to electrical issues as pointed out. A sensible method of diagnostics would be to install a low-pressure monitor to the pilot line.

Thank you both. Machine only has 3000-ish hours and has been well looked after. Would like to try swapping the solenoids first, if it persists we go into pressure testing.

Kobelco Ireland, any chance those solenoids are numbered?

Lever lock solenoid wire tag will be sv-4
2speed solenoid wire tag will be sv-3
