Good to see the vermeer manual. I went to high school in Pella, Iowa. That's where the factory is, my grandma on my dad's side was a classmate of Gary Vermeer, that started it all. He was a go getter of a old farmer that made a lot of different equipment. I actually did some work for him on his farms in my youth. My uncle worked there for years in the parts department.
In a interesting tid bit, my mother's step dad, was Harry Ver Ploeg- who helped originally design the stump grinder. He and his brother (alonzo) and Gary are all listed on the patent.
