Anybody know anything about JD 855 track loaders? Weaknesses, trouble spots, etc.?

Overall, how good of a machine and parts availability.

Would an '85 or '86 with 50% undercarriage be worth 10k?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it would be if nothing else is wrong with it.Thats actually a good deal. Parts shouldn't be that hard yet due to their counterpart the dozers still being popular. Main thing I can tell you is to keep trash and material away from the radiator. These things will run hot if worked hard. They Didn't make a whole bunch of the but the parts should still be out there. Call warrior tractor and just ask the parts guy on that department. He will give you a somewhat Ideal on parts.
