Have a skytrak 8042 with a qsb cummins engine with a long crack start. The first start of the day is the longest, when it starts it runs great. Noticed the inline fuel filter bleeds down after letting sit for 2 minutes but it isn't consitstant, sometimes it will and other times not. When inline primes back up engine will fire right up and run great. Hooked engine to clean fuel source and engine looks like after shut off the supply pump will continue to run and returns fuel back to filters or tank and causing the inline to lose fuel prime. This happens when engine is cold or hot.

You have a electric pump supplying fuel ? What is your serial number on this forklift.
